Darby has a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rowan University (NJ). She is licensed to practice in Colorado and South Carolina. Much of her previous work has focused on helping high-risk individuals in inpatient and outpatient settings. Darby has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, functional treatments for ADHD and executive functioning concerns, and Nutrition. She takes pride in staying up-to-date on new treatment modalities and their effectiveness.

Darby's approach is often described as "supportive" and "direct." Darby's focus on building trusting, meaningful connections leads to effectively assisting clients through typical life stressors, interpersonal relationships and developing better habits for overall wellness. The therapeutic relationship is the basis of her work. Clients will feel well supported while also being consistently challenged to understand their own power in creating change.


Darby utilizes a mixture of DBT, strengths-based, and motivational interviewing approaches in both her counseling and nutrition services.
